Krakow Cultural & Development Organisation grew out of an intervention by the UNWOMEN-funded Gender & Governance Programme III. The organisation was first formed in August 2009 before registering with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development as a community-based organisation

As well as our extremely active Board and Secretariat, we now employ a programme director, a programme officer, and a finance officer. 16 facilitators have also been trained to implement projects in the districts.

As well as running projects, KCDO also offers a local consultancy service. Our senior staff have research experience across a range of disciplines and we also employ 16 community implementers who have recently delivered a learning assessment across the area.

We can provide support in the preparation of baseline and other district surveys as well as in research projects for both individuals and organisations.
